Crawley Community Action is an independent charity that helps people play a more active role in their communities. We do this by strengthening local organisations, supporting and promoting volunteering, and delivering social prescribing services that connect NHS patients to community-based support to improve health and wellbeing.

Group Development

We help setup community groups and also make them function well with all kinds of support , services, advice, information & planning.

Volunteering

We are the link between volunteers and organisations seeking volunteers. We help to connect the dots. We also actively endorse and help volunteers and voluntary organisations with all possible support & services.

Social Prescribing

Social Prescribing service links people with various charitable organisations according to their non-medical needs. The team of link workers work closely with GP surgeries but you could also self refer by filling up the form here.

Funding help

All charities need fund to get going and we are here to provide advisory, consultation & help to get it.

Practical help

We offer meeting rooms, office spaces to rent, post box services and hotdesking facilities for smaller charities who do not have a space of their own.
