Crawley Community Action linked Active Sussex in with delivery providers who are able to reach the most disadvantaged groups and this has resulted in investment that has been used to run activity sessions in Crawley.
Without the help with funding, there could have been a year when we weren’t doing anything. The event made people more aware of the disability community.
Karl has always been able to answer my questions. If it wasn’t for his support, the whole process would have taken so much longer. It’s comforting to have someone saying you’re doing it right.
Without the support from Crawley Community Action, I can honestly say I don’t think we would be up and running and many people would not now be getting the mental health support they are now getting.
