Volunteers needed for Heads On – Diverse Communities working on Mental health

Heads On is Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s charity. They help people with mental health problems to feel supported, to stay active and to be more involved in their communities.

Crawley Community Action is working with Heads On to find some people from minority ethnic backgrounds who have an interest in improving mental health services.

  • They are looking for people from diverse backgrounds who would be willing to take part in some meetings to discuss how local mental health services could be improved.
  • This is a volunteer role but expenses will be provided for people who take part.
  • The project will start in the New Year.

Living with mental health problems can be life changing, but they believe that with the right support extraordinary things can happen. Anyone can experience a mental health problem. One in four of us every year experiences this.
