The Help for Households campaign was set up in response to the rising cost of living to raise awareness of the government support available. As part of this campaign, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport is focused on highlighting no- and low-cost activities to promote affordable days out for the general public across the country, with a focus on reaching lower income families. With this in mind, they’ve created an interactive map which shares free and affordable events in our sectors happening across the country. Since launching on DCMS social channels in late July, the map has received more than 64,000 organic views and is featured on top consumer champion Money Saving Expert, Visit England.
