Women’s Accommodation Support Worker

 

Recruiting Organisation: Brighton Women’s Centre (BWC)                               

Working hours: 21 hours per week within normal office hours 9am – 5pm. Local travel will be expected.
Salary:  £25,481 pro rata
Contract: Fixed term until Mar 2025
Location: Worthing with some meetings in Brighton. Co-delivery of Women’s Hub at Turning Tides St Clare’s Centre, Worthing Mondays 1-3pm.

 

BWC Women’s Accommodation Support Service (WASS) delivers support for women who are homeless or insecurely housed. In line with BWC values, the WASS adopts a relational, trauma responsive, strengths-based approach. The WASS supports women across a range of underlying needs, identified by them, with the overarching aim of securing and/or sustaining safe accommodation.

The Women’s Accommodation Support Worker (WASW) will co-facilitate a weekly women only Hub for women who are homeless or insecurely housed. The Hub offers women access to practical and emotional support as well as advice information and access to other relevant support services.
