Support Worker – Preparing for Loss Team

Working hours : 21 Hours Per Week

Salary: £27,500 -£28,325 per year (pro rata)
Location: Remote working with regular meetings in Leatherhead/ Reigate area

Jigsaw (South East) is a local child bereavement charity, covering Surrey, mid-Sussex and surrounding areas. They offer advice and support services to children and young people in the lead up to, and after the death of, a loved one. Their vision is that children and young people will not be alone in their bereavement journey.

Role summary

They are seeking an experienced person to work with and support children and young people who are preparing for the loss of a close family member. You will work within a team but will need to be able to work independently and to travel within Surrey and surrounding areas.
The role is part of a small, friendly team who all care passionately about what they do and work collaboratively together.

The core hours and days will be agreed with the successful candidate. The role will require some flexibility from time to time, with some evening and occasional weekend hours, but also offers the post-holder some flexibility.
