Turning Tides are excited to be recruiting several positions in a dedicated team, to run Roffey Place, their new accommodation service, situated in the rural surroundings of Horsham.

Established 30 years ago, Turning Tides is a multifunctional, complex needs homelessness charity. Their mission is to end local homelessness. They have gone from supporting a handful of people in the coastal town of Worthing to providing a range of services to over 1,700 people in Worthing, Adur, Littlehampton, Horsham and Mid Sussex. They have over 10,000 supporters, 300 volunteers and 160 staff members to date.

The Role

An exciting new residential development for the charity, Roffey Place, means that they have a need for a Relief Minibus Driver in Horsham.

The role involves driving an 8-seater minibus shuttle service throughout the afternoon and evening, transporting the clients from their rural housing project to destinations in Horsham and the wider area.

They are looking for a kind, considerate person who holds a clean driving licence and have experience driving a minibus or making travel arrangements as required.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain some experience of the organisation, delivering a breadth of homelessness services to a variety of clients. Relief Work can often provide experience to develop into further roles and opportunities with Turning Tides or within the sector, with access to Turning Tides training programme to support the role and further professional development.
