Working hours: 22.5 hrs per week
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 depending on experience.
Contract: Fixed term 2 years
Location: Crawley

Citizens Advice in West Sussex (North, South, East) are recruiting an exceptional advisor to join Crawley advice team. You will run an outreach at Langley Green hospital (Crawley) one day a week, working with the multiple disciplinary teams and focusing on the money issues, helping with benefit applications, backdating, challenging decisions and working through budget and debt options. As part of a wider team, you will have peer support from colleagues working in similar projects, access to specialist consultancy and referral routes and full training for knowledge gaps.

You will need to be a problem solver, able to self-organised and able to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent attention to detail able to follow processes and good communicator.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of either debt or benefits, however full training will be given to the right candidate who can show the skills and values.
