Recruiting Organisation: West Sussex Voluntary Community Sector Infrastructure Alliance

Working hours: 7.5 hours per week – there may be some flexibility regarding hours
Salary: £170 per day plus expenses
Location: Hybrid working, with office base at Bognor Town Hall

West Sussex Voluntary Community Sector Infrastructure Alliance is comprised of the following organisations:

• Community Works (Adur and Worthing)
• Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester (VAAC)
• Mid Sussex Voluntary Action (MSVA)
• Crawley Community Action (CCA)

Alongside Horsham District Voluntary Sector Support who are a partner organisation.

These organisations act to provide community sector infrastructure support to VCSE across West Sussex. The key functions of the Alliance are centred on strategic development, representation, communication, fundraising, partnerships, influence, and leadership. To this end the whole sector acts as one voice and the local delivery partners work together to adopt best practice, avoid duplication, and campaign on strategic issues impacting on the VCSE.

The Alliance is now seeking an Executive Officer who will provide business support and development functions that will drive the organisation forward. Working closely with the Alliance Chair of the Steering Group and Alliance CEO Group, this freelance role will be pivotal to the successful delivery and co-ordination of operational and strategic plans.
