Executive Assistant

Working hours: 25 hours per week
Salary: £14,864 (£22,000 FTE)
Location: Hybrid working (2/3 days office based and can be any one of 6 offices across West Sussex Brighton and Hove)

They are seeking a superstar administrator to join Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove! You will be supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to deliver against their ambitious plans. The role will support all members of the SLT, but specifically the CEO and COO, by providing a first-class executive and administrative support. The role will have significant oversight of all SLT activities and requires an individual with the confidence and drive to assert themselves as part of that team.


Given the size of the charity, the role has significant scope to get involved in the leading and running of projects and new initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a fantastic organiser and administrator, with excellent and creative writing skills and experience of office management. You will be flexible, tenacious and above all, a fantastic team player.


Specifically, you will have:

  • Experience of working as part of a team in a busy client-focussed service
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a busy and varied workload
  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Office365 and Mail Chimp
  • Experience of setting up meetings and organising and running events


The role is offered as a hybrid role but will predominantly be office based and will require the ability to travel to other locations. AUKWSBH has six premises across West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, providing significant flexibility to decide a main office to work from.

A full driving licence is required for the role.
