Recruiting Organisation: Citizens Advice in West Sussex (North, South, East)

Working hours: 22.5 – 37 hours per week
Salary: £23,000 – £24,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based at one of the offices in West Sussex subject to availability

 

Citizens Advice West Sussex are recruiting a helpline advisor to join ‘Help to Claim’ Team to advise callers from across the UK on Universal Credit and help them to apply on a telephone helpline and webchat platforms. .

 

About the Role

To help people get the right advice, you will need excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills and able to research and explain complex information. You will need to be comfortable with targets and able to follow agreed advice processes whilst also feeding into our insight and campaign work, so we make a difference by improving the way the system works.

 

About you

Ideally you will have a knowledge of the welfare benefit system, but full training will be given if you are able to demonstrate the skills required. This role is full time but can be delivered as a jobshare, either at one of our offices or hybrid /remote based will be considered for the right candidate who can demonstrate their aptitude and skills. .
