Location: Across West Sussex and provide specialist support remotely to other Turning Tides services

 

Turning Tides is a community led homelessness charity operating in Worthing, Littlehampton, Horsham, Mid Sussex and surrounding areas. It has over 170 staff and 300 volunteers. Its mission is to end local homelessness.

They are currently looking for a Deputy Manager who will work in the Community Links team and will work strategically with local partners, including services within Turning Tides, through systems leadership influencing change in the way that the organisation provides services to those facing homelessness, requiring social care support, specialist support in areas such as substance misuse, mental health and those with multiple disadvantages.

THE ROLE

The Deputy Manager works within the Community Links Team, and accommodation services, to provide management support primarily to the Substance Misuse Team and provide holistic wrap around support to small caseload, experiencing multiple disadvantages/exclusions and with a history of long-term rough sleeping. This role will also focus on supporting the substance misuse team within Community Links who primarily support those placed in housing and supporting those in temporary accommodation and Turning Tides accommodation who experience multiple disadvantages/exclusions, throughout West Sussex.
