The Role: 

They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead a small team in delivering our Thursday Activity / Social group in Maidenbower Crawley.

  • You will be creating a safe and enjoyable space for our members/carers enabling those using our services to engage in meaningful activities and to support carers in their role providing signposting where needed and keeping up to date with local support services.
  • Administration duties to include recording of accurate data to support reporting required for commissioned services.

This service supports local adults looking to keep mentally and physically active, to socialise and meet new people, also support people living with Dementia or who may be worried about their memory, the service can also provide much needed respite to those normally supporting them.

 

To Do Well in this Role:

  • You will need to have an understanding of, and interest in older people, their situations and the opportunities they may want and/or need.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership skills with an ability to manage and motivate people towards achieving defined outcomes.
  • Experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of Dementia.
