Sky High Trampoline Gymnastics Academy, based in Uckfield, is a dedicated facility offering a range of gymnastics disciplines; trampolining; general gymnastics; display team gymnastics; tumbling and double mini-trampoline.

As an apprentice coach at Sky High TGA, you will learn and help to coach a range of trampoline and gymnastic-based activities alongside our qualified team of coaches. The activities we offer are diverse, aiming to include as many age groups and additional needs as possible. From toddler drop-in sessions to adult fitness, local schools to adult care groups, recreational classes to birthday parties, as an apprentice, you will be involved in every aspect of coaching at the centre.

 

The Role

If you enjoy working with children and young people- and are passionate about being active- we want to hear from you!

You will be a permanent member of the Community, Sport and Health team. You will be required to work across sports centres in the area under supervision, delivering fun, inclusive and engaging sports and physical activity sessions.

We particularly welcome applicants from female, black, minority, ethnically diverse communities, disabled people and LGBTQIA+ communities, as they are currently underrepresented within our workforce.

Training

  • Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification
  • Coach Core workshops
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
  • A minimum of 1 National Governing Body L2 qualification
  • Access to a range of other training, events and opportunities (e.g. activator courses, community sports festivals etc)
