They reach a further 10,000 young people and their families through our other key services, such as counselling, support and advice, mediation and youth work. The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary, passionate team as a permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week) Clinical Supervisor for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

  • In this role you will provide formally scheduled, contracted 1:1 or small group clinical supervision for Dialogue counsellors, including supervision of supervision for some counsellors who supervise qualified volunteer or trainee counsellors.
  • You will work at all times within the Ethical Framework of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and maintain the high standard of service delivery required of BACP Accredited organisations.
  • Your expected working pattern will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • Supervisees are based across geography and as such the postholder will deliver supervision sessions online by video whilst working from home or from a YMCA office.

 

Who You Are

They are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who has experience of working with children and young people and the ability to work effectively from home offering supervision sessions online.

  • You will have a minimum of five years clinical practice counselling children and young people.
  • You will also be a BACP or UKCP (or other recognised professional body) registered and ideally accredited practitioner, or working towards accreditation.
  • You will also need a recognised Diploma or Degree in Counselling or Psychotherapy of a minimum training.
  • In addition, you will have a recognised Clinical Supervision qualification and experience of working with counsellors/therapists.
  • It is desirable that you have experience of either providing therapy in a SEND or PRU setting or supervising such work.
