Hinrichsen Foundation to promote music

The Hinrichsen Foundation offers grants to support organisations and individuals undertaking projects to promote music.

There are two levels of funding available:

• One-off small grants typically between £500 and £2,500 (for new applicants and former beneficiaries)
• Larger projects or concert series generally £2,000 and over

Multi-year partnerships may be considered.  Individuals, organisations and charities in the UK are eligible to apply.  The Trustees are principally concerned with providing support for the performance of contemporary music, which may include commissioning of new work, non-commercial recording or even publication.  The Trustees will occasionally provide funds for research projects not being conducted under the aegis of an academic institution.  The 2023/24 application deadlines are as follows: 

• 31^st December 2023
• 31^st March 2024
• 30^th June 2024
• 30^th September 2024
