New ‘Health, Wellbeing & Loneliness’ project by GHU

Gurjar Hindu Union (GHU) is thrilled to announce the launch of a pioneering initiative designed to combat health disparities, enhance overall wellbeing, and tackle the growing issue of loneliness within the Crawley community.

Recognising the interconnected nature of physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection, GHU’s new program will provide a holistic approach to supporting residents of all ages. This initiative will encompass a range of activities and services, including Health and Wellness Workshops, Social Connection Groups, Physical Activity Programs, Mental Wellbeing Support, Community Outreach. As part of this work they plan to extend their facility to build a Health, Wellbeing and Loneliness hub.

To launch this initiative, they have organised eight-day event, from 24 May to 31 May, entitled ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha’ featuring renowned and revered Pujya Bhaishrin. They expect large numbers to attend this event, so this will give you the most exciting opportunity to showcase your Products and Services at GHU’s Health Expo.

In conjunction with the launch of the new initiative, GHU is hosting a comprehensive Health Expo, to provide a unique platform for organisations to connect with the Crawley community and promote their health and wellbeing-related products and services.

GHU invites you to join them as a stallholder at the Health Expo, where you can: Directly engage with potential customers, increase brand visibility, network with other local organisations with the view to support a vital community initiative.

Stallholders should offer products and services related to:

  • Health and fitness,
  • Nutrition and wellness,
  • Mental health and wellbeing,
  • Complementary therapies,
  • Community support services,
  • Products for elderly support,
  • Products for young family support.

Wellbeing organisations are encouraged to have stalls to display their service and facility to wider audience. The form attached here must be filled to reserve one for FREE – Stalls Application Form

 

GHU is planning to publish  a magazine on the auspicious occasion of their 15th Anniversary. This will have more details about the project and much more.
