Volunteers’ Award 2025

This year, Volunteers’ Week, 2 to 8 June 2025, was so eventful & magical as we celebrated our volunteers’ contribution in so many ways. There was picnic arranged for volunteers, a week long campaign over social media on volunteers & volunteering and the most important was the AWARDS night.

We called nominations for several categories of volunteering from individuals and organisations which were then thoroughly scrutinised by the Jury members. We congratulate All who received awards on the following categories, though we are quite mindful that others who didnot win or get a nomination are no less important to us. We cheer for all the volunteers in town and are highly oblidged for their time & support which is crucial for so many charities. Awards are just a recognition and we are so proud that we have them here –

• Trustee Award 2025 – Sharon Golightly, The Easter Team
• Volunteer Team – Sussex Volunteer Team at Victim Support
• Young Volunteer 2025 – Charlotte Lamb, Super Siblings & Othellos
