Working hours: 37 hrs per week, office based
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 FTE depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based at one of the offices in West Sussex subject to availability (Crawley/Horsham/Haywards Heath/Shoreham), some travel to outreach locations required.

The Welfare Benefits Team Leader will lead a team of advice caseworkers, volunteers and support staff to deliver high-quality welfare benefits advice services which empower clients, tackles financial hardship and promotes equity.

They will manage their own complex caseload while ensuring the team meets contractual targets and contributes to the charity’s wider mission — including partnership work, research, campaigns and systems change.

The postholder will provide leadership, quality assurance, and performance oversight, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven culture.
