Salary: £34,000 p.a pro-rata
Contract: 2-year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Part-time: One-day (+) Remote. Full-time: if office based in Horsham

Citizens Advice West Sussex are recruiting a Housing advisor/solicitor with experience of working at specialist supervisor level and legal aid work to provide specialist Housing casework and develop future funding and pro bono opportunities. Providing specialist level high quality Housing Advice and Casework to residents including County Court representation, building partnerships with legal aid and other specialist providers to develop a presence in the range of legal interventions.

They are URGENTLY recruiting for a Housing Solicitor to develop an exciting innovative housing casework project and pro bono programme. This role can be delivered full time or part time on a jobshare or supervising trainee(s).

West Sussex faces an advice gap, and they’re funding a pilot in Horsham to launch specialist housing advice and grow their pro bono legal program. They need a Housing Solicitor to provide technical supervision and expertise to lay the foundation for this initiative. This role offers flexibility, with full-time funding available but open to part-time or remote arrangements, such as one day a week supervising trainees.
