Counselling support during the Covid-19 crisis

As the Covid-19 crisis continues, people are facing emotions and difficulties ranging from anxiety, loss, anger, and low mood, to increased tensions in relationships and trouble coping day to day.

Relate North & South West Sussex have a team of experienced counsellors standing by to support people through this crisis. They can do this in a number of ways.

  • Free* one-off counselling sessions over the phone to listen to your concerns, and support you to explore ways to cope during this crisis. If you are not sure about counselling, this is a way you can try it out and see if it is for you.
  • Ongoing counselling via Zoom or over the phone if you are a young person aged 11+ or an adult, are either on your own, or part of a couple or family, and you would value the support of a counsellor to help you improve your mental health and make personal changes.

They do not want cost to be a barrier. If you will struggle to pay for ongoing counselling, please contact their team to talk about subsidies available, as well as free support available to those who have been adversely affected by the Covid-19 crisis.*

If you would like to find out more, or to book either a one-off appointment with a counsellors or an assessment for ongoing counselling, you can contact them Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 on 07423 147915 or e-mail reception.crawley@relatesussex.org

*Subsidised and free support is available to those who are eligible as long as funding lasts.
