Tackling Loneliness Together

Crawley Town Community Foundation are currently inviting referrals to their new Tackling Loneliness Together programme.

Since the recent launch, they have received a steady amount of referrals and have a full complement of staff ready to support participants and the local community.

Details for the services currently being provided under the programme and their frequencies are:

  • Walk & Talk wellbeing walks – Weekly Session
  • Walking Football – Weekly Session
  • Befriending telephone calls and emails – as many as participant requires
  • Zoom online sessions – Twice a week
  • Newsletter (email/post) – Monthly
  • Garden Gate visits – Weekly visits, socially distanced

Daren Ford, Acting Head of Foundation commented, “We are placing focus mainly on those aged 60+, but should you have any referrals who are under 60 years old, please contact us and we will look at how we can provide support, as we want to be able to support as many people as possible.”
