Keeping Crawley and West Sussex safe

Tier restrictions

From Tuesday 5 January Crawley, along with all of England, was moved into Tier 5 National lockdown: stay at home. following a rapid rise in infections, hospital admissions and case rates.

Tier 5 means:

  • You must stay at home. This is the single most important action we can all take to protect the NHS and save lives.
  • You must not leave your home unless necessary.
  • Stay 2 metres apart from anyone not in your household or bubble.

Keep West Sussex Safe

West Sussex County Council have launched a campaign to Keep West Sussex Safe,  reminding residents, businesses and communities of the 4 key, simple steps they need to take to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

As part of this, they have created a community communications toolkit that can be used to spread the word, containing advice, key messages, social media posts and digital posters.

Posters have also been created that refer specifically to Crawley. Importantly, these are available in multiple languages and can be downloaded below:

Printed A4 copies of these are available on request from Pav.Randhawa@crawley.gov.uk.

The key messages can also be download in a range of different languages:

West Sussex County Council website also includes links to videos in different languages, regarding spotting the signs of Coronavirus. Take a look here.

You can see more on the West Sussex County Council website here and access the campaign resources here. If you need any further information, please contact  communications@westsussex.gov.uk.
