Employ Crawley recently secured funding for an employability Youth Hub for those aged 18 to 24.
Young people can access up to 6 months tailored support to meet any wider skills gaps and bring them closer to the labour market. There will be access to support from good local employers, colleges and providers.
This is a new partnership venture with the job centre plus (JCP) and will have two JCP work coaches working alongside Employ Crawley Youth Support Officers, who are soon to be recruited.
The Hub officially opened on the ground floor of the town hall on Monday 26 October, but under current restrictions is now having to offer services virtually.
If your organisation works with any young people aged 18-24, they can speak with their work coach to be referred and book an appointment with a youth employment support officer.
