Research into the Immune Response to COVID-19 Infection

As COVID-19 continues to spread around the world, research is crucial to strengthening health systems; improving treatment approaches and ending the pandemic.

Brighton and Sussex Medical School and the University of Sussex are collaborating on research projects, including conducting research into how our bodies defend against the Coronavirus. Their studies could help identify critical patients earlier and also help in vaccine design.

They are currently looking for volunteers aged 18 or over, who live or work in Sussex and have tested positive in the last four months and are now fully recovered, to donate a one-off blood sample.

So if you, or anyone you know, can help, please contact the team at One Research, who are managing the volunteer programme by visiting or call 0808 164 1888 for details and to register.
