The Forget Me Nots | Lunch and Supper Club Coordinator

The Forget Me Nots (Crawley) is a safe haven for those who care for a loved one or friend with a Dementia, with or without diagnosis.
We provide a day off on a Friday at our lunch club where the Carer can bring the cared for with them if they wish, and our supper club on Tuesdays is an opportunity to talk without the cared for around.

We provide entertainment and activities but mostly we support, inform and befriend at a time that can often be unbearable.
We are looking for a very special person to work alongside our existing Coordinator in leading our team of dedicated and hardworking Volunteers each Friday and Tuesday, as well as planning and organising the day’s activities prior to delivery.

You will need to have a good understanding of how Dementia affects the whole family and those around it (preferably personal experience), be passionate about the subject with a real willingness to help grow the charity and service we provide. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator and able to motivate and inspire those around you by leading by example.
