Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9-5)
Salary: £21,200 per annum (pro rata)

Location: Reed House, Hove

 

The YMCA is the largest and oldest youth charity in the world. YMCA Downlink Group need an IT Administrator to support the IT team with progressing the organisation’s 5 year IT strategy. This is an exciting new role with lots of development potential as they seek to expand staff and implement new IT strategy. They will offer on the job training and there is lots of development potential. You will be undertaking key systems administration, assisting with standard data reporting, providing basic IT training to staff and ordering IT equipment.

– Excellent IT skills (proficient at Excel, familiar with Office365)

– Excellent Communication Skills

Top Responsibilities:

– You will be logging issues, co-ordinating and processing requests for logins, system changes, keeping I.T. equipment asset register up to date
– Strong working knowledge of Excel with proactive approach to using Excel or similar tools to solve problems creatively
– Undertake system administration within major systems and support staff on their use (e.g. training, writing guides), with the opportunity to develop data analysis skills

Key Requirements:

– Successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of IT security and data protection due to the nature of the role
– Enhanced DBS
– Expected working pattern: Monday – Friday 9-5
