Independent Sexual Violence Advocate

Working hours: 37 hours per week (open to flexible working and job share applications)
Salary: Salary £27,741 – £29,577

Survivors Network are pleased to be recruiting an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to our thriving team. The ISVA service provides advocacy and support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse linked to the criminal justice process.

As a skilled case worker, you will have significant experience in working with vulnerable or traumatised people, a commitment to working in a client-centred way and a good understanding of self-care.

This post is arising from a new contract which involves expansion to a new service delivery area. The role will involve working across Sussex (and travel across Sussex) with a focus on West Sussex. The post holder will be home based initially but at offices in West Sussex in the future.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is open to self-identifying women applicants only, as being a woman is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 pt 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
