Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

West Sussex Transitional housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people with an age range of 18-35, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. We have a culture or being More Than A Room and offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
We work with residents to coach them in life and social skills, enabling them to move successfully into independent accommodation and for them to successfully sustain a tenancy. Mainly these are shared three-bedroom houses, all with a lockable bedroom, sharing and taking responsibility for the communal areas. There are also self-contained units where the residents will be responsible for all their utilities and these properties allow us to offer the support and encouragement to sustain a tenancy.
The properties are agency managed on behalf of a landlord so as well as coaching and engaging young people you will be responsible for ensuring the properties are maintained and housing management.
Although based in Horsham the successful applicant will be expected to travel throughout properties in West Sussex.
