Group Facilitator – Brighton & Hove

Salary: £25,740 to £28,600 per annum, pro rata
Location: Brighton & Hove

Contract: 9 month Fixed Term

 

This is an interesting and varied role based in Brighton & Hove and developed with the support of Primary Care Network 1a. The main duties are to facilitate a rolling programme of parent/carer groups that educate and support the participants around their child’s mental health needs.

If you have experience of facilitating group programmes and working in the field of children and young people’s mental health, they would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will be confident at presenting to groups, have experience of responding to safeguarding concerns and be able to adapt their approach to different groups.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Competently deliver a rolling programme of mental health support groups for parent/carers, including responding to individual needs within the group, creating a safe and open space and responding to safeguarding concerns.
  • Measure impact of the groups through outcome measures and feedback forms and create an evaluation report that may inform further content and delivery of the sessions.
  • Develop promotional materials for the group and disseminate these to professional networks.

Expected working pattern:

The role will deliver groups from YMCA/GP venue and remotely and the working pattern is flexible. It includes a possible 16.00-20.00 shift.
