Detention Advocacy Coordinator

Working hours: Full time (some evening and possibly weekend work)
Salary: £20,000 to £23,000
Contract: 1 year fixed term.

Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group has a full-time job opportunity to join our small and determined frontline team as a Detention Advocacy Coordinator. We require blended working from home and from our office in Crawley. This is a one-year fixed term contract. In this role you will work with people in detention on casework, offer emotional support, coordinate a team of volunteers and lead on our outreach work in schools.

The closing date for applications is 22 October (midday) and we are interviewing on 29 October online with the possibility of a follow up phone call and/or a meeting in person for shortlisted candidates on 30 October in Crawley. The salary is on a scale from £20,000 to £23,000 according to experience.
