The Youth Endowment Fund

Application deadline: 12:00 on 3 June 2020.

A fund of £6.5 million is providing funding with the aim of reaching and helping vulnerable children aged 10 to 14 at risk of being drawn into crime and violence and who, as a result of coronavirus and social distancing measures, may have lost the support they rely on.

Applications are accepted from charities, social enterprises, for-profit companies and public sector agencies, such as schools or police forces. However half of the total funding will be reserved for charities and social enterprises, with grants of a minimum of £25,000 available for activities in the following two key areas:

  • Digital/virtual delivery of programmes
  • Face-to-face activity that can be delivered while adhering to social distancing/stay-at-home guidelines.
