NHS Charities Together is the national membership body for NHS charities. They have raised over £130million through their Covid-19 emergency appeal and stage two of their funding distribution is targeted at supporting partnership working between NHS charities and voluntary sector partners who play such a crucial role in delivering the vital services that wrap around the NHS and support people’s health and wellbeing.
At the start of November 2020 the grant round for NHS Charities Together funding in Sussex will open, with total grants available of up to £650,000.
Funding will be available for projects addressing health inequalities, suicide prevention and supportive discharge from hospital.
Partnership applications are encouraged and the grants can support both new work and the enhancement or scaling up of existing projects experiencing increased demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is expected that funding will be available to support work taking place from April 2021 for up to two years.
